KENTUCKY SCIENCE CENTER IS COMING TO TOWN!( AGES 5-12)
Join us for two exciting expos on weather and space led by the Kentucky Science Center! Children ages 5-12 will explore the wonders of storms and aerospace science through five hands-on, interactive stations per expo.
Weather Expo: Young scientists will investigate wind speed, air pressure, lightning, and snow while discovering the stages of a storm in a fun and engaging way.
Space Expo: Young explorers will learn about rocket launches, what it’ s like to live in space, and how robots are programmed to explore distant celestial bodies in an enjoyable and captivating manner.
Dates: Monday, June 22( Weather) or Friday, July 17( Space) Time: 1 PM-3 PM Location: Griffin Recreation Center Cost: $ 5 per child per event( Must pre-register online.)
MUSICAL INSTRUMENT EXPLORATION( AGES 7-10)
Youth ages 7-10 who love music and want to play a musical instrument are invited to sign up! We provide guitars, selected woodwinds, keyboards, and percussion instruments to utilize during this 2-hour supervised session.

KIDS CODING( AGES 4-6)
Kids Coding is an engaging class for children ages 4-6 where young learners are introduced to basic coding concepts through play using Indi Cars. Children explore cause-and-effect, sequencing, and problemsolving as they guide their cars using color tiles and simple challenges. The class encourages creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration in a fun, hands-on environment, helping build a strong foundation for early STEM learning.
